Based at Shepton Mallet Prison, The Campbell Group of Companies have a brand new vacancy for a Marketing Assistant. The role requires the successful candidate to co-ordinate and support the delivery of the marketing plan for Shepton Mallet Prison. This includes social media posts, analytics, PR support, brand management, developing and maintaining partnerships with media and press. This role is 32 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 9-5, but we are happy to be flexible on set hours. The role will require some office days and working from home, so this is very much a hybrid role. Key responsibilities include:
· Working with the Marketing Co-ordinator to deliver the objectives laid out in the Shepton Mallet Prison marketing plan
· Ensuring the Shepton Mallet Prison brand is integrated through the site and marketing materials
· Supporting the sales team with collateral, generating of leads and on-site support
· Co-ordinating and delivering the digital media strategy for Shepton Mallet Prison, which includes,
· Curating posts for social media platforms
· Working with site teams in curating posts for social media platforms
· Managing the creative studio process and scheduled posts for social media platforms
· Manage responses and communications to customers across all platforms
· Weekly reporting and analytics of social media channels
· Co-ordinating and producing content for website blogs
· Working with partners to deliver content to promote Shepton Mallet Prison

Shepton Mallet Prison has two exciting new vacancies for a 12 hours per week & a Zero Hours Tour Guide. Working in an amazing, unique location, this role will include working holidays, weekends and midweek, dependant on business requirements. The pay rate for this position is £9.50. The role involves ensuring fantastic customer service and delivering fact-filled tours to our visitors.

· Night Behind Bars Tours
· Any new tours that are introduced in the future
· Answering visitor’s questions and enhancing their experience
Our ideal candidate must have great communication and customer service skills and be able to present and talk with a group, as well as speak on an individual basis. They must be able to work with all age groups, including children, and remain age appropriate during tours.
We’re looking for someone who is confident, personable, flexible, of smart appearance, willing to muck in, and able to learn and portray facts and history about Shepton Mallet Prison. An interest in history and heritage is essential.

This exciting role of Activities Assistant is to support the Duty Manager with the growing range of activities & events on offer at Shepton Mallet Prison. From welcoming guests through our gates for our overnight events, to running our adrenaline-packed Angel and Axe Throwing sessions, you’ll be heavily involved in all the various events and activities that Shepton Mallet Prison has to offer.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join a fun and enthusiastic team! The role is a zero hours contract, and requires weekend and evening working, occasional overnight shifts, as well as weekday daytime shifts. Immediate start is available and full training will be given. The pay rate for this role is national minimum wage.
This role requires first class delivery, great customer service and the ability to pick up new skills! The Activities Assistant role will also involve assisting the front of house team with checking our customers in to the prison.
Key responsibilities include:
· Having knowledge of all products, tours and activities available at Shepton Mallet Prison
· Supporting large events, such as Night Behind Bars, our 12-hour overnight event.
· Behind the scenes preparation for seasonal activities and events.
· Ensuring all activities are carried out in a safe and secure manner
· Ensuring activities are conducted at a high standard
· Working as part of a team and maintaining communication with fellow colleagues during events
