The Guided Tour lasts for approx. 1.5 hours. During this time, you are welcome to spend time before, after or both exploring the site.

For our Self Guided Tours, we recommend you allow between 1.5 and 2 hours but you are welcome to spend as long as you like exploring the prison!

Yes, we have a gift shop on site. It is located in our Visitor Centre, selling a wide range of merchandise.

Friendly dogs are welcome in the prison but only on daytime visits, when they’re with their humans on a Guided Tour or Self-Guided Tour.

We advise that you book in advance online to guarantee entrance as the demand for tours is very high, especially during peak times.
